Back Pain Info:Back pain - Army disability questions?

Back pain - Army disability questions? If i were to file a claim for back pain, what would be the likelyness of me being discharged along with what benefits? I have been having this problem for about 3 weeks now, and am about to go in for my third visit to the doctors.

You don't file a claim.

Instead you go to your appointments and do what the doctors tell you to. If the doctors decide that your back problems are so severe that you cannot continue to serve - a medical board will be convened whch will evaluate your medical condition and determine the best course of action.

If you are discharged with a medical disability then you can file a claim through the VA for a determination of your level of disability.
