The cause of a sudden back pain?I just recently experienced a sharp lower back pain.
I was simply sitting down in [at least what I believe to be] a normal position. Once I stood, my lower back began to hurt.
I still feel the pain at the moment but it isn't as extreme.
Can anybody explain what occurred?

Hi Hours of Levels,
You might have pulled a muscle. Have you experienced back pain before? Did the pain extend down your leg?
Most back pain occur when the core muscles are weak and once you strengthen them, back pain almost always goes away.
