30 weeks pregnant with diarrhea, back pain and LOTS of braxton hicks.?

30 weeks pregnant with diarrhea, back pain and LOTS of braxton hicks.?I am 30 weeks pregnant and yesterday, something different started going on. I've always gotten the occasional braxton hicks..no big deal. But, yesterday they started coming a lot more painful. They are still very inconsistent, just a LOT more painful and my uterus is getting very tight, especially around the lower part under my belly button. I also started getting diarrhea..but I know the difference between "I gotta poop" pains.. and these are definitely just braxton hicks. The diarrhea has been going on since yesterday, with no cramping..but really bad lower back pain. Also.. when I woke up this morning, I was doing laundry and I got this weird sensation that my water was about to break. I've had that once more this morning.. and then about 10 minutes ago, I went to the restroom, and there was this watery discharge. It wasn't bloody or sticky..just clear watery stuff. I had to have my water broke for me with my son..so I don't know if water can leak like that..But my main concern is the diarrhea, loads of braxton hicks, and lower back pain. I never had any of this when I was pregnant with my son.. does anyone else feel the same things???

You can "leak" while pregnant. Keep this in mind, if you do have your baby now, he or she will most likely be fine, BUT, with the symptoms you are having, do not wait, calll your doctor and get checked out, it would be a horrible thing for there to be something wrong, and not have done anything.
Call the doc and tell them what is going on, most likely they will send you to the hospital for monitoring.
Good luck!

Hey huni,

You need to call your labour ward and tell them this - don't think that just because you're not term and definate it's labour that you can't ring, because there is ALWAYS a midwife on the end of the phone for advice.

To me, it sounds like you could have an infection. Which can irritate the uterus and cause contractions so you really ought to be seen hun.

Ring them and tell them everything - they will be happy to help.

If they agree you are not in labour - you will be sent home within a couple of hours so don't worry hun.

Good luck xxx

I totally agree with the first reply. I got nervous for you while reading this. I think that you need to go to the ER or call your doctor.

It is better to be safe than sorry. You never want to be sorry.

Good luck! I will keep you in my prayers....
