back labor pains..need advice from people who know not people guessing?im 3days over due if you go by the due date from my First ultrasound i've had back pain scenes my 7month but for 3days i been having really bad back pains last night when i was getting them they were so bad i thought i was going to throw up this is my First child and im not to familiar with all the back labor stuff any advice would be helpful if you know what your talking about

I was the same way with my first...your just so anxious to have this baby...just wait till they come and go...come and go...trust me you'll know when your in labor. I was so scared and didn't think I'd realize, but you will. I was 2 wks. late. Good Luck!!

i had back labour with my last and to start with i didnt realize thats what it was, it was an annoying backache that would ease but then come back stronger
then over a few hrs i started getting pains in the tops of my legs at same time
it could be u in early labour it try to keep active for a while see if they get worse x x

I had back labor. I didn't have any timed contractions, the only way I knew I was about to give birth was that I got this sensation in my pelvic area like a HUGE balloon was about to pop... and then OUCH my water broke. It didn't really hurt just really uncomfortable. On the way to the birthing center I started to have REALLY BAD "cramping" type pains in my lower back. I felt like I was having period cramps in my lower back.. except they were like 15 times worse. They would come and go about 2 to 3 mins apart. It wasn't constant back pain. Like when someone would normally have stomach contractions, I wasn't having those at all, there were only back pain type contractions. Also when I would have a back contraction, it felt like my whole private area just went totally numb.I went to a midwife so I had the option of water birth or any position that was comfortable. I tried squatting ( that made my pain worse) I tried being in warm water which was really nice except I got overheated. I ended up laying on my back and giving birth.
Edit: Also I was on bed rest from like 29 weeks, like three days before I gave birth I started to have uncomfortable back pain, it wasn't severe but it would come and go. I called the midwife and she said not to worry it was just early labor signs. Me being on bed rest meant nothing. I relaxed a lot more than normal but I still swept the floor, did laundry, made myself stuff to eat.. I gave birth at 38 weeks.
