It might be a kidney stone, so I would get it checked out as soon as possible. Symptoms include a fever, some nausea, and of course really bad pain in the back just under your ribcage. Sometimes as well, there may be some blood in your urine as the stone starts to make it's way down the ureter. The only way you'll know for sure is if you see your doctor!

I couldn't tell you exactly what it is, but it could be a serious disease or serious illness the way you described it. I would make a doctors appointment As Soon As Possible.ASAP

Use a knife to cut the top layer of skin, then pull out the falangie.

Have you noticed any relationship between the pain and meals? It may be your gallbladder that is causing referred pain in your back. Another possibility is a kidney infection or a kidney stone. You really need to see a doctor and get this sorted out. He can examine you and order the appropriate tests to get you on the road to recovery.
