why does my lower back/kidney area hurt?Occasionally, I'll have a lot of lower back pain/kidney pain for no reason. Its horrible and even lying down hurts. Any idea on how this happens and how to treat it? (and no its not alcohol related)

drink plently of water to keep your kidneys flushed. and ask a doctor about this.

sounds like dehydration - is you pee darkly coloured? have you been drinking a lot of coffee? sweating a lot? that kind of thing?
as said already drink water. try to drink a couple of glasses in the morning. REGULARLY
if that doesn't sound likely the best thing to do is to visit your doctor for a blood/urine test.
