How long after you had an epidural did you experience back pain?I had my son in June of 2007, and I still have some back pain at the epidural site. It was pretty bad in the beginning, but it doesn't hurt as much or come as often now. I just don't know if it's supposed to bother me for this long.

i had mine Jan of 08 and i still get a few pains here and there. I can still feel the scar of where they put it in!
It might be an idea for you to see someone about that to rule out anything serious.

I never had back pain from my epi or spinal. Maybe you need to talk to your doctor. I know sometimes women can get nerve damage in that area.

i had an epidural but never experienced any back pain. As soon as they took off the epidural i was completely fine except that i was just exhausted but the next day i was walking perfectly fine.. no pain and its been almost 8 yrs :)

i had an epidural with my son in october 2008 and i have had no problems so far but some of my freinds have had problems for years and my mums epidural site still gets pain 19 years later
