Is severe back pain normal in pregnancy?I am 25 weeks pregnant and have been diagnosed with sludge in my gallbladder, but lately I have been having pain in my right lower back below my ribs that will last for like 2 hours. It's hard to stand up straight it hurts so bad. Do u think this ties in with the gallbladder problem or just normal pregnancy back pain?

i think the gallbladder problem just magnifies the back pain even more...but back pain in pregnancy is VERY common...that's because your baby is resting it's body on your lower back uterus...etc...so it causes some pain. i know that i can't walk for long periods of time because i feel like i've just been hit with a car...just take regular breaks and rests so you won't feel that way
