Lower back pain (inj), no sleep, swollen ankles and high HR- BP fine, Fibroids and possible diabetes- help?

Lower back pain (inj), no sleep, swollen ankles and high HR- BP fine, Fibroids and possible diabetes- help?I know I sound like a mess- too much stress, no sleep- 40 yr old mother of 9 month old angel son- bery active- likes to be held. I fell like I am falling apart physically- I know I am overweight and out of shape- emergency C-section of 3 month early preemie and 82 days in NICU- then PPD for 2 months when he cam home- How can I get back on track and be around for the long haul with my son- husband is working full-time and does not need to know all this is going on but I am starting to break physically and hope it is not too late to fix me! Oh yeah- my husband (4 yrs younger) wants me to have another baby - I need to have the fibroids removed before I conceive and I am worried I will not be healthy enough to have the surgery....TG for my son- he is so sweet and innocent- he deserves to have a healthy Mom!

I hate to say this but this is why women should have children younger our bodies are more durable then. I definetly would not have another child you may not make it thtough this time and you need to explain that to your husband. The risks for you and your unborn are doubled as soon as you reach 30, so at forty they must be ridiculous. YOur husband has a right to know everything. That is what marriage is about you need to be open with him. Your body may be falling apart but so are your hormones. You sound postpartem. Even if your child is 9 monthes with my first I had it for 14 monthes. You need to talk to your doctor or a therapist personally I recommend group therapy because it makes you feel normal again knowing that so many other women are going through similar situations. Also take walks to the park or around a local mall even when you don't feel up to it, you need to make yourself be active. It will increase your energy, you'll lose weight and meet interesting people.

having a new baby is alot of work and considering that you say your 40 and overwieght this is what i recommend:
take a multivitamin everyday change your eating habits eat whole wheat foods and relieve some stress by exercise put your baby in the stroller and go for a walk he will love it and it gives you a break form holding him and exercise and the relief of stress. also even thow your husband works all day he help make the baby he needs to help take care of it let him see how hard it is maybe he will forget about having another and you might be suprised he might be willing to watch the baby like 2-3 times a week for you to take a break.its never to late to change your life style dont give up and good luck if you need help or want to talk feel free to email me @ lbcutie4u2c@yahoo.com

Sorry for your stress. but you need to just do it. get up earlier get your day going. exersise eat right. find i friend that can walk with you or watch your baby while you go to gym. Find a mommy and me group in yourr area. forget the trouble in the past start new. Next
sit your husband down talk to him tell him how you're feeling. tell him you need just a little more help.
Wait till your uterus is heald and free of fibroids. A healthy mom is what not pnly your son deserves or your husband deserves but it's want you do too.

Exercise and diet will work the best. If you are way over weight, look into having the gastric bypass done. My mother-in-law had it done and she's lost a ton of weight, put her diabetes in remission and has gotten off the majority of her drugs. You can still have another baby after you get the surgery done. It's the easiest, quickest way to lose weight effectively without having to stick to a strict diet and exercise routine.
