What kind of doctor should I see for poor posture, back pain?

What kind of doctor should I see for poor posture, back pain?

Answer by Jtall12
A physical therapist.
There are several reasons why I say this.
Usually when people have poor posture or back pain it is because they have some restriction or have week muscles else where that may cause the back pain
I physical therapist will recognize this and will give you exercises to help strenghten theses weak spots and help you get better posture
They can also stretch you out and do much what a chiropractor would do but they give you exercises that you can do on your own so you don't have to come back and pay more money.
A chiropractor could be helpful in some cases but my advice would be physical therapy

orthopedic or neurosurgeon. Orthopedics deal with bones but neurosurgeons deal with backs if surgery is needed. Chiropractor's can help, but i would go see a orthopedic first!

I would have to say a chiopractor.
I have lower back pain, and my chiopractor adjusts me and teaches me stretches. It's definately a real help.
