Back pain during early pregnancy?Hi, I'm 12 weeks 5 days. And I'm starting to have really bad lower back pain. I have always battled back problems, since my first child was born 7 years ago. Been to a few doctors and was told I had the beginning of arthritis. Was taking medication for it, but was taken off it 3 years ago. Even before pregnant I had some back pain but noting to severe, most uncomfortable feeling, sometimes enough to take a couple Tylenol. But now that I'm pregnant it's come back full force like it used to be 3 years ago. I've been so sore, and stiff, and I really don't want to take any Tylenol right now. I know it's safe to take, but I can't be taking it every day. I use a heating pad for about 10 minutes a couple times a day, and also cold compress. It doesn't help at all, and I really don't know why I bother. My question is: Can I see a chiropractor during pregnancy? If you have did it help? What happens during visits? I'm so scared I will end up feeling worse than before I went in. Would my OB be able to set that up, as I'm sure I'll need a referral.
Another question: Could also the reason for the back pain be the baby starting to move out of the pelvic area and laying on my nerves and muscles?

this is normal my advice is for you to buy body pillows they make you life a whole lot easier and get eenough sleep eat well healthy no bad drinks soda makes your baby come up hyper. so advise you Don't drink too much soda and stuff like that it's temporary. :) have the phone near cos it might just happen sometime soon. congradulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

don't go to a chriopractor try a massage. they even do pregnant massges. a chiropractor will twist you like a pretzel and you won't be able to go full benefits cos right now cos you are pregnant.
yoga also helps. and i have every disc in my back that is herniated and crushed and i am in excurciating pain all the time and yoga is my life saver! they also have pregnant yoga
