Is lower back and hip pain normal during pregnancy?

Is lower back and hip pain normal during pregnancy?Hi there. I'm 35 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I feel like I have severe lower back pain. I know back pain is normal during pregnancy, but my lower back hurts so bad sometimes that I can't even walk. The pain is just as bad when I lay down. My hips also hurt...more so my right hip. When I get up to go to the bathroom, it hurts to walk because of the pain in my hips. I'm afraid to lay down or even get up when sitting because of pain in both back and hips. My legs also hurt and feel weird in the middle of the night when I sleep. I think my legs are effected by my other pains. Are these pains normal in pregnancy?

Yes they are normal pains. Your pelvic bones spread out before birth so they are moving and causing the pain.

How does someone know if they are 1 day pregnant? It takes a while for pregnancy symptoms to appear, they don't just come out of the blue the first day...

Yes, those are normal pains during pregnancy. Try sleeping with a pregnancy pillow!

Yes, it is normal. I've got the same problems. Hurts so bad to get up and sometimes I feel like crawling around the house.
