Middle back pain but not the spine.?I have middle back pain which is not spine related because i can only feel it on the muscle area.
The only changes I've made are sleeping on a six inch mattress while i was in the czech republic this weekend. However this hasn't caused pain like this before.
Could it be due to the bet I made with a friend that I could hold my breath for a one minute and thirty seconds? Could that extended stress on my body be the cause?

Could be the mattress or the rest of the bets you made with your friend. Sounds like a muscle strain to me.

does it hurt to breathe? from sleeping on a different bed, you might have a rib out of place,,,it can be quite painful, doesnt show on an xray and hurts like h e l l ! when i first had this i thought i was having a heart attack it hurt so bad. find a chiropractor
