Sharp stomach pain after car accident?6 days ago, i was in a car accident (not our fault). There wasnt too much damage and nobody got more than a few scratches on their body. We still got taken to the hospital though. I got a few tests and x-rays done to make sure nothing was broken. The doctor even pressed on my stomach to make sure thee was no internal injuries and he said everything was fine so i went home. I didnt have any problems because all i had were a few minor scratches which have already healed. But last nite at about 1 am i woke up from this sharp pain in the middle of my lower abdomen (around my belly button) It hurt really bad and i wasnt able to go back to sleep until like 3:30am. When i woke up for school i noticed that the pain had moved over to the lower right side. I would've told my parents but they were already at work and i didnt want to have to call them at work. I took some motrin and decided to still go to school becuase i dint want to be home alone with a stomachache.(the motrin didnt really help) My right side was still hurting at school but somehow i made it through the day. Sometimes i feel like im about to throw up but i havent actually vomited yet. Also, i dont have an appetite. I told my parents about the pain and for some reason my mom made me lay on the bed and she pressed my stomach around a little bit, which hurt really bad. And once she pressed down where it hurts the most and when she released a wave of intense pain went through my stomach. She said that if the pain isnt gone by tommorow morning, then she'll take me to the doc. What might this be? And did the car accident i was in 6 days ago cause this or is this something totally different?

Acute, sharp abdominal pain is a very serious problem. It can be anything from a delayed reaction/injury from the accident, or appendicitis. In either case, it needs immediate attention.
Ask your mom to call the local ER and ask if they think you should be seen.
