Sitting on a hard surface triggers upper back and shoulder pain.?When I sit on any hard surface it triggers upper back and left shoulder pain, sometimes even neck pain. Does this sound like a pinched nerve?

My first guess would be poor posture. Unless you maintain the proper "S" curve in your spine you are putting a lot of strain on your upper back.pp

no it is not seem to be the pinched nerve because you have a pain in the back ,shoulders and neck.i know pain is not a pleasant feeling but it help us to know something working wrong in the body.you should know why your joints become stiff and you have to face this pain.when you sit on hard surface you face this problem.is this strange thing.you have to look the source given below to help you find which thing help you to come out of this situation OK.

This is probably due to the poor posture. If you maintain poor sitting posture for too long, you usually feel tightness, cramp, or pain at the upper back.
